I've wanted to make game videos for the longest time, but I never had the equipment. Finally got a great deal on a hard disc drive recorder, so I can get great quality videos with the original hardware. So far it's all been various shooter 1 credit clear vids, but other genres are coming. Enjoy!

Pocky and Rocky was a cute sidescrolling shooter about a cute shrine maiden named Pocky(Sayo-chan) who reminds me of kikyo from Inuyasha and her Raccoon partner Rocky who fought demons

Brandish is an SNES dungeon-crawler that's kinda like Dungeon Hack, Eye of the Beholder, etc., except with a single character, and an overhead view rather than first-person view. It was recently remade for the PSP. In particular, it features a stereotypical skimpy-dressed sorceress girl who you never play as until much much later in the series as well as the PSP remake.

Despite this, I still mention the game in this forum because the artwork for her is so hilariously 80's-looking.

Kishin Douji Zenki games for the SFC, from Left to Right:

Denei Raibu, Rettou Raiden, Tenchi Meidou

I've only played Denei Raibu, but its pretty addicting and intense! Mixes platforming action with a head-to-head battle system of anticipation and reflex.

Sadly, I am having trouble finding any videos of these games.

Panel de Pon

When It comes to puzzle games Panel de Pon is my second favorite (Tetris comes first). I'm a big fan of the series and even bigger fanboy for Lip as you can see from my sig/avatar.

Sadly Panel de Pon never left Japan in its original version, it came here as Tetris Attack/Pokemon Puzzle League. Same game just the characters were changed with Tetris Attack replacing Lip and friends with Yoshis Island characters, PPL with Pokemon.

So how many here know about Panel de Pon?

First and foremost, I love the Chrono Trigger soundtrack. The whole damn thing. It's amazing.

The Guilty Gear series also has some bitchin' music.

So does this fighting game Galaxy Fight.

And, I was obsessed with the Samurai Showdown 3 soundtrack when I was 17. Literally. I'd listen to it for hours on end.

Wolfteam Character on the Wii?!

From what I just read on Wikipedia (unreliable, sure, but this is good speculation), a certain "Reika Kirishima" from Time Gal by Taito (but developed by our beloved Wolfteam) is set to make an appearance as a playable character on Castle of Shikigami 3 on the Wii slated for a US release on the 29th.

Now this is striking news especially for me considering that I own and love Castle Shikigami 2 for PS2 and never thought I'd see more than that State-side. But to have a Wolfteam character ...

A full scale hack of Final Fantasy, nothing remains but the core programming routines.

It features all new graphics, music, levels, enemies, text, statistics and more. Think

of it as a “Total Conversion” for the NES.

Fixes all known bugs that have been discovered by myself and those that have been reported to me. Also touches up some small things that annoyed me, and is far more polished than the original 1.0 release from 2006.

I thought you all might enjoy reading this. IGN's Retro section just wrote up an article about the top 10 Rennovation games on the Genesis.

Although I never would have included Sol-Deace\Sol-Feace on the list as I think it's a terrible game. I pretty much agree with everything else on there. It's nice to know that Rennovation is still getting love from even the "big" guys.

Does anyone own these games? They were all developed by Taito in the arcade, but as said in the Wii thread they were all ported to various systems by Wolfteam.

I own both Revenge of the Ninja and Time Gal. Revenge of the Ninja I have owned for years and love it, but I just got Time Gal yesterday I gotta say, it's really cool, but man it is tough. It doesn't give you as much time to respond as Revenge of the Ninja does, even on "Easy".

Also to make things even tougher, ...
