Hey Warriors... happy

(This is a remake of an old topic we had, I wanted to open it time ago, but I was busy... sad )

Here we can talk about the videogames that became movies, after the producers realized they could earn more money from videogamers, not only by selling the game... ugh

Here we can talk about what we like or not from those movies, and discuss if the movie fulfilled our expectations, I guess we're all gamers in this forum aren't we?

We won't add the movies that became videogames... because it's not the same thing, maybe in other topic... Rolling Eyes

Ok then, let's start...

RESIDENT EVIL 3 ....

has anyone seen it??? eh

I love Resident Evil 1(game), but I don't really like Resident Evil 1(movie)...for no reason when I saw the main character did a triangle jump and kicked the zombie dog to death I couldn't stop laughing for 5 min...

RE1 the movie is great (except for kicking-the-dog scene).

and yeah.. killing that dog with a kick, is just so funny, 'cause in the game, the zombies barely die, and when you use the knife, they never die lol (how come she killed it with one kick lol )

RE1 the movie is great, the other RE movies are piece of s***. RE series should be focusing on guns and zombies, why they are including fighting scenes in the movies ugh (if you have seen RE2, there is a scene where the protagonist jumps from a motocycle and shots the motorcycle with her pistols ugh , also there is the fighting scene between the protagonist and Nemesis ugh )

Ha, ha, ha! Curious Thing!!! lol
That scene was the only one I liked on that movie... geek

About RE movies, I think that the fact of changing the main characters, normal humans (Jill, Chris, Claire... ), to a super human (Alice), just killed the whole story.... huh

and after every videogamer in the world complain beacuse video games'characters didn't appear.... the producers just added Jill (in RE2) and Claire (in RE3) so no one could say anything about that... ugh

I love the live action Street Fighter movie simply because it's one of the best/worst things in existence. Like, it's soooo bad, it makes it great.

But, yeah, for those of you who haven't seen it:

First off, they get Jean Claude Van Damme, a man who can barely get a hold on the English language to play the American Col. William Guile. "Baison ees a weezerd!", "The Next Baison wannabee..." and the emotionally gripping "Troops, We can go home" speech are worth hearing again and again.

Also, Van Damme can't say "probably." Instead, he says "probabably."

Raul Julia (GOMEZ ADAMS, lol) plays M. Bison (Vega to you purists), or rather, played M. Bison, because, yeah, he passed away shortly after this movie, which really comes off as a bummer. But, back to it. His performance as Bison, to me, wasn't all that bad. Not super great, but, not horrible either. He was actually one of the highlights of this movie, IMHO.

And as for everything else...egh.

And, dude, OMG, the guy from JUWANNA MANN was Deejay.

ROFL.

lol!

Evil Reiko/ Extacy: I also died when I saw the dog kicking scene in the commerical to the RE1 movie. That was also a clear sign that the movie wasn't going to be all that great.

I also loved the part where that dude who was going to off himself said "You're going to have to work for your meal!" when he shot a zombie with his last bullet. It just seemed corny. And funny.

we discussed a lot about this movie in the old forum... it's nice you mention it again... happy

I'm with you... Street Fighter the movie is nice, because you simply can't stop laughing... lol
everything on it sucks... huh

Every Van Damme movie has the same plot... he is the hero, having a reporter girl next to him... and his friend is injured by the Bad guy... ugh
why didn't the writters change a bit this one...??? heh-heh

I haven't seen Mario bros movie... eh
I have never found it for rent...

BTW, I forgot to mention something bout Resident Evil 3.... huh
something I really find disgusting... mad

Did you guys notice, the protagonists, ask for a cigarette, and look for it, as if smoking a cigarete was the maximum pleasure in the world?? ugh

I have nothing aganist smokers, I think everybody has the right to do whatever he or she wants....

But I think adding that kind of comments, and showing such behaviours, is a manouver to show youngsters smoking is cool....

I'm really mad at this fact. mad

Don't bother if you want to experience the movie, by all means. I mean who would watch a post apocolyptic wolrd of the mushroom kingdom? Not only that, dennis hopper as koopa (does not look like him at all) (more like Max headrome without the studdering) Yoshi is not like yoshi, toad is not like toad. You kow what im just tired of seeing that movie but im going to watch it anyways because im just plain stupid to see it again.

That scene is all my friend talks about, lol.

Also, a friend of mine gave me a copy of RE: Extinction. It was horrible. I lost interest halfway through and started drawing. Anyways, after the film, I watched the Special Features...where they showed a trailer for a CGI RE film...that, from the looks of it, is centered around Claire and Leon. That should be interesting.

And has anyone heard anything about the new SF film? All I know is that Kristin Kreuk (Smallville) is playing Chun-Li, because, yeah, it's being centered around her.

but making Alice a superhuman made the story just too stupid... huh

1.Kristin Kreuk (i always thought she had potential)

2.ReA was like Mad max with infected zombies.

3 I hope they don't make a MegaMan Movie...Not to be confused with "OmegaMan" (which BTW i thought it was a Megaman Movie at the time 1989)

It was probably a turd...But, it might have had some redeeming stuff (read: unintentionally funny content)

I have a bootleg of it here. It's literally been sitting on top of my Xbox and DS games since it came out in theaters. I'm assuming one of my uncles or my brother bought it, because the last thing on my mind would have been "Hmmmm, Hitman's out...lemme pick up a bootleg of it."

Egh.

I'll probably give in and watch it.
