I download the Valis++ patch from your site and runs perfectly on VirtuaNes.

It also plays well on FCEUltra. I can't try NESticle since my computer won't run it in DOS mode for some reason. =/ Still, there's a couple NES emus that you can use.

Hi, as far as NES emulators, go with Nestopia, it's the best one around by far. Although I agree that it's much better to play the PCECD version, though they're hard to find. I know some people hate it when you just download some rips and play in an emulator, but with old, rare games like these, there's little choice. I know there is ebay, but there's so many rip off artists there that I'm not going to buy game discs like that anymore. I did manage to buy Valis IV, and it appears to be the real thing. If it's a copy, it's a darn good one. I tested the tracks with Tau Analyzer and the tracks came out as real. I have a Valis II disc which looks real enough, not that I'd know what it looks like, but analyzing the tracks they came out as being from mp3. I stopped buying game discs from ebay after that. I just downloaded the rips. It would be nice to find the real thing, but that's hard to come by. If any of you have game discs with audio tracks you bought online, I suggest you run them through Tau.

Oh and EvilReiko's Homepage, it looks really cool. Although I must say I hate flash-only sites! Sorry, but I do. No big deal though.

Having a flash site provides me (me as webmaster) the best features for obtaining a site. there is almost no disadvantages by having a flash site thanx alot for being honest Reel

thank you for the compliment but to tell you something, I don't know almost anything using ActionScript. I wish I can have your book, I searched for it in my college but unfortunately they didn't have it

I have a book of ActionScript, but it's a soft-copy on my computer. I wanted to print it out on papers, but it would cost me as much as hell.

That Valis X is really some impressive art work to bad the gameplay (what I've heard) blew chunks also I liked the picture keep up the good work .

Yes it's so funny about the bikini armors
The head, the chest, the belly, the pelvis, and the thighs, these could be the most important to cover in battle in many animes/cartoons/games/movies, these are the parts that are NOT covered

Valis X gameplay? You won't believe it, there is no gameplay! you the player, just keep pressing clicks to view next pic or text, there is not even a gameplay!

So Valis X is just a point and click game. No wonder it failed . Point and click type games are good for puzzle like games such as Myst or King's Quest but Valis is an action type game; excellent for 2D platforming goodness. I'd would say 3D type game but that will end being ANOTHER God of War Clone (like Darksiders & Dante's Inferno---don't get wrong I love these games but to much of the same thing can make a game go stale fast). Valis needs to be a 2D (with 3Dish type graphics---like Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles ) to keep it's charm .

Let me surprise you, there IS already such Valis game The Valis mobile games! They've released 2 mobile games (it was released in 2005, before the release of that damn Valis X). Unfortunately, the 2 Valis mobile games were exclusive to some Vodafone mobiles even more unfortunately, the game is in Japanese language only! and even more unfortunately, the mobiles are sold only within Japan!

Somebody needs to find a cellphone/mobile emulator, and the roms. I know they exist, people have been ripping sprites and such for the cellphone/mobile games for a few years now, so I know it's possible.

Heck, there is one version of the first Castlevania I would like to try,(And I would post pictures, but they're on VGmuseum, and I know they hate hotlinking.) but I can't, mostly because I don't know where to find the emulators, and roms, and I've spent many hours searching in the past, and turned up diddly squat.

And I'm rather amazed no one has ripped sprites from that one, where as they ripped the one after it, and all the hacks and wannabes, and not that one. I find it odd that they would ignore that one, and for proof that people do rip cellphone/mobile sprites, check this page.

I think I've seen something like that before (though it was a long time ago)---it was a game (if you want to call it that) called PYST (a spoof to Myst)---it pretty much played like a click-anywhere-to-see-next-phase type of game.

Sometimes Japan get's some of the cool games and stuff . I've been watching a Let's Play called Terranigma (for the SNES or SFC if you will) and it looks so epic and deep , it's a game that I would love to play---
sadly it never made it to the US thanks to Nintendo of America standards . But in someways I'm glad it didn't NoA Censorship would have butchered it .
