| I think the game looks rather good so far. The select and title screens certainly look nice. I can't wait to see the actual game in action though! | |

| Another video, basically shows the Capcommunications and Telenet logos, personally I prefered to put the Studio Swan logo and not Telenet... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBgAlGFdd1wYou can recognize the three girls showed in the Cap logo? Oh yeah! the english traslation in the las seconds says (with some fixes...): - Quote :

"VALIS", "Fantasm Soldier Valis", and others. 1986, 2007 TELENET JAPAN. "The Valis Project", 2008 Capcommunications/Studio Swan.

| Yup, they are: -Cammy from SF Alpha 3, but X-Men vs SF artwork. -Chun-Li from SF 3 Third Strike artwork. -Yuko Ahso from Valis covers. Allright, a new video has uploaded, this time we show Castle Vanity stage with his BGM, using the master Kung Fu Man to do it (not characters yet...) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESArONEJgkoIt's a test, so the stage needs many fixes. | |

| The stage looks Amazing!!!! those Yuko sprites look so nice... I agree with Valna and Evil Reiko, it would be much better to look at the whole game finished... But I also understand you, given it'll take so long to complete your project, you feel the urge to show how nice your work is doing... | |

| I certainly agree, the stage certainly looks great.
However, would it be possible to animate the clouds in the background? Or perhaps add some twinkling stars? I just I thought to make suggestion (or two). ^^;
The sketches for the sprites look good as well.

Sure thing but... I need to re-made the stage, this one has send me in a e-mail, you know, I think it's better with a "3-D" clouds effect like the Castle Vanity stage from Super Valis IV.

The "3-D" clouds effect in the Castle Vanity stage from Super Valis IV was what I was trying to get at. Anyway, if it is not possible for the current stage you guys are working on, perhaps it could be an effect to consider to use for one of the other stages? I don't want you guys to go through the trouble of reworking everything as far as the one stage you got so far. After all, the stage looks great.

Well... 6 stages left, and this stage (Castle Vanity) looks some "void"... I considered to make Castle Vanity like REALLY is, clouds in movement, twinkling stars, some people *cof Valna *cof

that's so beautiful!! I noticed that you're slicing the index page to several images. that's not really good. instead, you can easily: place the entire pic as background, then add the menus (enter, about, channel) as text. if you have the program Dreamweaver 8, you can make it like that so easily I also suggest that you change the size of the index page, it's too big that we have to scroll down BTW, the about link takes the visitor to the same page ? and also I can notice there is alittle mistake in the sky above 's right hand

| in theory, sliced images for bigger images is the ideal way shadowblade has DIAL UP, uploading and major file transfer is a pain for him the drawback for slicing images is that if one image is not correctly uploaded... you gonna have in your hands a nice HOLE in the site
I've uses dreamweaver and i've used LAYERS to do a similiar layout for that kind of page
anyway..
I think the lines in that art are pretty thick.... again.... crap... I think I gonna make the draft in photoshop and the inking process is gonna be in OPEN CANVAS...'cuz the inking method is better

Amu, Kenshin and Rena I apologyze for my lame quality making armors.. is not my strong side.. I'm pretty lame if I could say.. but well... here they are... as usual..fell free to drop a comment... greets

| Looks better than what I usually produce for armor! I also noticed the choice of anchor points for the sketches (such as the balls that formed a head base, hip base,...). I've been trying to work with anchor points as to get the form proportioned properly, but the perspective angles (arms going towards/away from the view) are a killer to draw. I always feel like the perspective attempts end up going sideways. | |
