Seems like she either missused the whip wrong or got into a real dangerous fight. Nice pic! Chammy!
But i love EVEN MORE Im guessing she's not as popular as the others. Oh well!

The sprites are good,again like you said the missing sword. Her stance looks like she ought to have a shield but that would be stupid because she's has a two handed sword(claymore,flamberge...i don't know which type of sword she has. I like!

OK, no more artwork... first in-game pic:



New character selection screen, the background is animated and the music is from first stage from Valis The Legend of A Fantasm Soldier (PC-Engine). I'll change the Cham's portraits, but I colored the others first.

BTW, I remember you said there will be 8 charcters, but I now i can see only 6 selectable characters or will there be 2 characters that are unlockable

anyway, I'd like to tell you an advice: finish working on the game sprites first, because that's more important. as for character select screen, it's not so important, and it can be done anytime

seems that the spriting technick is gonna take another turn

I will gonna try vectorize the draws and rescale them to the correct screen size
we still gonna do a HI DEF stuff, but with a vectorized draws is gonna be more accurated and clean

just posting something not much related to the game, have this

Because I made these sprites before knows Keisuke and take seriouslly the project , now he created HD sprites and I colored it, so these sprites has been "lost", this Rena is an edit of Tia from Breakers Revenge game.

Anyway, see her legs, looks like Third Strike Chun Li's legs: Much exercise.

Well, I discarted the SNk style, so the sprites in Valis will be like Guilty Gear style (we hope...)

Meanwhile, this is an update to the character selection screen, the "?" slots are random select:



Looked at Yuko's sword isn't Valis. and the game shows two "1P" cursors because is the Training mode.

Either way its still sprites at it's highest. Yeah the sword she's weilding(yuko) Yeah i can see i looks like a regular sword...im sure you can fix that.
