| Me and my friend are always talking about how we miss this Genre to death. Personally, I think it should come back, sprites and all. What do you guys think?
Some of my faves include:
Brawl Brothers/Rushing Beat Ran (SNES) River City Ransom (NES) Final Fight (SNES) Final Fight 2 (SNES) Battletoads & Double Dragon (SNES) TMNT IV: Turtles In Time (SNES/Arcade) P.O.W. (NES) Captain Commando (SNES/Arcade) Astro Boy: The Omega Factor (GBA) The Simpsons (Arcade)
There are more, but, right now, it's 2 in the morning and I can't really think straight. _________________ WRRRRY! |

| I love those games!
specially because I used to play with my bro, and most of them are cooperative...
this genre is still alive... but it has become less popular... I guess it is because the designers may have decided more people searches something more "challenging"... than just go and break the face of everyone in front of you...
in your list, you can still download for your arcade emulators: Golden Axe Alien vs Predator Dungeons and Dragons Punisher
those are legendary games... _________________

| Streets of Rage 2 RULES! Final Fight on SNES I only like the third one
Really miss those days, game makers nowadays seems do not like this genre anymore |

Yeah, when I had MAME, I used to play TMNT IV ALL DAY.
And, yeah, I totally forgot about D&D and Punisher. OMG, that game was sick!
And yes, Streets of Rage was a sick Beat'em up as well.

Yeah, every game that seems to come out is either a FPS or a game that's literally, a complete rip-off of GTA. _________________ WRRRRY! |

| Oh yeah forgot about D&D...back when it came out on Saturn and I bought it, people from my school actually have to make a line up to come over my home to play it(since everyone only bought playstation...)
And yeah when it was on MAME, I used to go online and play with others a lot every night and skipped a lot of college classes because of that |

It was simple back then. Now, there is all this other stuff that's like "huh?" I don't even remember half the crap that the DS one had. _________________ WRRRRY! |

| I used to play it, but, after a while, I fell out of it. After that, I would only really play it with my then girlfriend. _________________ WRRRRY! |

It is pretty good. It's also slightly comedic.
But, yeah, thank god you didn't say Beat Down, or whatever the name of that game was. That was terrible. _________________ WRRRRY! |

| There's an upcoming beat-em-up game for XBLA called Castle Crashers. It looks very similar to Guardian Heroes in terms of game play. _________________ [ Web | kevinski.com ] [ Wii | 7030 8283 2535 8378 ] |
