| The very concept of only seven things in the world allowed to be "wonders" is wrong. | |

| ssfsx17 is right. Why it has to be 7 if there are so many wonders? There are also great things that are never being considered as wonders. For example, Pyramids of Egypt are being wondered since very long time, while the sphinx has never been considered as wondering. archeologists are very interested in how the pyramids are designed without modern tools - while it's only tringular-shaped. But they aren't so interested in how the sphinx is deisnged, without modern tools whatever... things that are great and amazing, will always remain, wether they are considered as world wonders or not but, for me, I don't care . My seven wonders are: * Valis * My CPU * Java Programming Language * Macromedia Flash * Adobe Photoshop * Members of Valis forums * and... Reiko Kirishima | |

| Haha, nice list of Seven Wonders, Reiko! Anyway, the seven wonders are swell and all, but my wonders are the unknown animals of the world (Loch Ness monster, ropens in New Zealand, Emela Ntouka, Thunderbird, etc). | |

| I agree with you guys... considering only seven wonders of the world?... what's the point? I mean there are so many great things that can be considered wonderful... Internet itself is a WONDER.... just 10 years ago I'd never imagined I could find friends who loved Valis as much as I do... and being able to talk with you, even though we live in such different places... | |

| Hey, what about those statues (the long, sorta cylindrical-shaped head ones) on Easter Island?
I could have sworn that those were "wonders" as well.

I could have sworn that those were "wonders" as well. Well ... not exactly... my Warrior friend... there was a voting to choose the Seven New Wonders among many famous places... the... "finalists", the ones that were not chosen were: The Acropolis - Greece Alhambra - Spain Angkor Watt - Cambodia Statues of Easter Island - Chile Eiffel Tower - France Hagia Sophia - Turkey Kiyomizu Temple - Japan Kremlin/St. Basil - Russia Neuschwanstein Castle - Germany Pyramids of Giza - Egypt Statue of Liberty - USA Stonehenge - United Kingdom Sydney Opera House - Australia Timbuktu - Mali

It's dumb, they should all be considered wonders! I agree... I never knew what was the point of making a votating... I guess it was to decide in which ones money will be spent to mantain them... BTW, just yesterday I heard of a great fire that's destroying Athens... so maybe this has started the destruction of those wonders... what a shame.
