| Um...Yeah...Introduce myself...It's been years since I last played Valis II, back then I didn't know anything about the game, not even character names. That was because it was a Japanese one on a Turbografx16. If only my grandmother had given the system to me and not my cousins, whom I don't know if they still have it or not. Infact, the CD thing on the Turbo stopped working. But he wouldn't give me the Valis game, even though it didn't work. Wouldn't even give me the game manual, flippin' turd...And now none of it works either because it's dead or he didn't set it up right. Do you have to have an old tv or something? Anyways, the last forum I was a member to treated everyone like crap, even when you did nothing wrong. I hope this place is much nicer. Valis reminds me of Sailor Moon. Probably the genric Japanese schoolgirl thing. And the fact of "normal girl to hero" yeah. Yuko=Mercury with long hair. And much cooler. And Reiko has always made me think of Saturn, just turn her hair blackish purpleish. And the whole evil deal. Would make a great crossover....Hopefully I do it before anyone else does, but I'm a lazy bum. Am I the youngest member here? Wouldn't surprise me, since people my age usually think old games are lame. I never beat the game. Probably because it was in Japanese. I think this game needs a remake. A serious one, that is for the fans and not for pervs. Sure, fanservice is great, those chicks are hot, but that stuff should be left to fanart, fanfiction, etc. I didn't even know about any of the games excpet II...Sorry to make a long intro...But if Splatterhouse gets a remake, so should Valis. Or atleast be on Virtual Conslole. Then I can bother my friend who has a Wii. XD Yeah, I do long posts. Sorry.... | |

| Welcome to my forum! Actually Valis did a remake on the mobile phone. It looked all GBA quality but it never went nowhere. | |

| nice intro (don't worry about long post, I enjoy long ones actually ) the youngest could be someone around 13 years old, but certainly you're not the youngest most of us here didn't play the game at that time. I played Valis for the first time around 2000/2001 (while the last episode of Valis was released in 1993 ) I'm sure it's gonna be fun to know more about you | |

| Wai! I'm not the only teenybopper on this site anymore!
I'm actually quite envious that you actually owned a Turbographix-16, WITH an import game no less. Still, though, it's nice to actually have someone here about my age. UNDERAGE JAPANOPHILES UNITE, DOOD!!!
Ahem... Anywho, the guys here are really nice. You have nothing to fear, dood. And the ValisXSailorMoon crossover idea doesn't seem like a bad idea (they even have similar japanese names: Mugen Senshi Valis & Bishojo Senshi Sailormoon). You should definitely make a fanfic!

Technically, it was never mine... It was my uncles, who left it at his mom's (my grandma's) and she gave it to my cousin, as I stated previously...I bet he sold it...Even though he couldn't use ANY of the CD games, he wouldn't give them to me...I mean, it wasn't like I'd sell them...They'd be one more sentimental object my mom would try to force me to let go of...And I haven't heard anyone say "teenyboppers" in a looong time. And I'm not a "dood". I is a chik. I know, people say that...But everytime I go out to eat, it's always, "what will he have?" And I find that hilarious. Maybe if I dressed like Yuko it'd be more obvious...XD ...Why does this look like Goku??? XD

I tend to try to stray....and then a great fic becaomes a mess of "wtf was I on?!?" kind of thing. So instead of the epic dramas and fantasic plots I have in mah head, I write random stuff. Really random. Scary random. UBER EPIC RANDOM!!! *ahem* that being said....Yes, the land of socks....My sock drawer, of course! There are many socks there....and random sharp objects....

| Nice, but the style or something reminds me of Valis X...I like how yuko looks less cutesy and old-anime-ish. But then there are things I like from the old games design style...I think you're design ther has it! it has the Valis X-ish looking Yuko snd yet she still has qualiteis of the old games style. I'm not promoting Valis X, I'm just referring to it's style of character design or whatev. Whatev is MAH word. All the X pics (not THOSE pics, the ones I've come across through this and EvilReiko's site) of the characters, they lack emotion, they just...Idk...But in the old style, you see it. Does anyone have any idea what I'm saying? I like pie not really. | |

Well, I show that Yuko when I see HeromanX is a great Yuko fan anyway, I only take the Valis X artwork as base for the artwork to my project, a Valis fighting game and transcurring after Valis IV story (yup, no more Valis warrior Yuko, but is a Goddess warrior) you can see a threat by Valis77 if you wish to take a look.

| I just made this big-a post, and then I had to leave for a few minutes, pc still running, said post, it made me log back in, and then it lost it. Long story short, I got the Turbo, need to know how to hook it up, CD port not there, not only is Valis II gone (as expected) so is TV Sports Football (not that I care, gives me a place to put the CD card if I get a new CD port.) The game cases were in horrible condition, much worse than when I last saw them. They must have gotten rid of the CD port for it not working...Hopefully Valis II wasn't in there and that's why it's gone.... And thus, I would like every one to pitch in and think of a name for my Turbo. Yes, I name my Consoles. My PS2 is Tom Cruise (funny reason), my Gamecube is Jenny, my 360 is Felix, I'm not going to keep going, I have quite a few consoles. Anyways, take a shot at naming it, rather it be funny or serious. I've run out of names. XD And when you say Yuko nude in Valis II, it's only in the original version, right? When Megas tries to rape her while killing her mom, right? Odd, I was under the impression that at the end he wasn't such a bad dude afterall....It's on Youtube? ....Never came across it....Anyways... Any of you guys know how to hook this baby up? | |

If the "original" version you are referring to is the ones on the Japanese computer systems (i.e. MSX2, X68K), well, I really believe Megas's main reason for having Yuko strip off her top armor was to humiliate her before he kills her. From the impression I've got from translating someone's summary of that version (through a website translator, no less), basically Megas "promised" Yuko to "spare" Valia, in exchange she drops her sword and removes her armor. Valia, in the meantime, is trying to tell Yuko not to listen to him, just forget about her and save Dream Land instead. After a bit more taunting from Megas, Yuko, not wanting to to leave Valia behind, eventually decides to do as Megas asks. Yuko drops her blade and removes her armor. After Megas taunts her a bit more, he kills Valia, then comes after Yuko. Yuko is paralyzed with fear as Megas is readying the killing blow. However, at about the last second, Reiko appears, grabs the Valis Sword and Yuko, chops off Megas's hand with the blade (knocking the guy backwards), then vanishes (with Yuko and the sword in tow).
