| Hello Warriors. I'm posting this topic so that you can translate other pages to english, this is helpful for some languages... chinese, japanese... where we don't understand anything... but is also useful for other pages, especially fanfics... Here goes: 1.- go to: www.google.comto the right of the search bar, there are three options: - Advanced Search - Preferences - Language Tools 2.- Click on Language tools A new page will appear, there are many interesting options, but the one we're gonna use is: * Translate- Translate text - Translate a web page 3.- click on this option: * Translate a web page* and write the http of the page you want to translate... or copy-paste the link of the page you are interested on... 4.- right below the space where you write the page url, there is a language selection, choose the appropiate one. *** for example in this one: Valis comic - http://www.ne.jp/asahi/mimoli/mono/valis.htmwe set japanese to english. *** and in this one: "The Legend of Leethus" - http://gamehall.uol.com.br/site/?p=3946we set portuguese to english.5.- click on translate... and VOILÁ I hope this info becomes useful for all of you guys. Of course, this translator is not very accurate, but it'll help a lot! If you have any question or doubt, let me know. BTW, I want to thank my friend HYDE (an old friend of mine) who told me about this little trick. Any of us using this, are on his debt. _________________ - Spoiler:

I learnt this trick from a friend... so I'll thank him in your name... but you're very welcome... this trick is really handy, specially now, that a lot of info is distributed in internet, and you can only see it in its original language... HAVE FUN!!! _________________ - Spoiler:

| Honestly, some of the translations are absolutely horrible, though. You should still expect to have to decipher some of them after translation. | |

I totally agree... But it is handy, especially to navigate through other sites... for stories, or fanfics... ... ... ... it sucks... the translation is not worth to be fully trusted... maybe this is because ... "english itself".... _________________ - Spoiler:

True, I bet it is much easier to understand if we weren't needing it in english and needed in another language, since they say english is the hardest to learn, with its breaking its own rules and what not. As it says on my english teacher's quote board: "If the english language mad any sense, a catastrophe would be an apostrophe with fur." | |
