Right and because of that you really want to see it. For instance *watches movie trailer* "i got to see that movie no matter what" *when it shows in theatre*......maybe later! i'll watch it in the dollar movies. *months later* forget it i'll just watch the bootleg movie. *wants to download the horrible visual/audio movie* Forget it *sleeps* *wakes up and plays games on PC*...............yeah thats pretty much me in a nutshell
yes, that also happens to me... plenty of my friends talk about many movies... while I only watch action movies, and videogames based movies... I say myself I will watch them later...
But some movies are not even worth to be downloaded ...

I don't live in the city, but, I do work and hang out there, so, it did hit me a little seeing it get destroyed.
I Am Legend also gave me a similar feeling, especially when they showed (in the begining)this place called Union Square. I'm there like, all the time. Seeing it in ruins sent chills down my spine. Also, the Tower Records where Will Smith stops at...my friend used to work there.

I liked that movie...
I guess it is better when you know the places, it gives an extra background... A huge city, so full of people, and then, all of a sudden, it is empty... in ruins....

I can't imagine such feeling... your surrondings... the places you know... all in ruins... devastated... I love such scenes in cinema and videogames... and looking at those images, so familiar... must have been something really exciting...
you know, I remember something curious... a movie scene I really liked...
in Spiderman, (the first movie) it was supposed some thieves were caught on a spider web between the Twin Towers in NY... that was really cool... but they removed that scene...

Yeah, that scene was pretty awesome, actually.
It's like, after 9/11, they had to incorporate the loss of the towers into everything, I guess to give a sense of realism.

Mmm I guess you're right....
If the towers were not in there anymore, it would have been stupid to add that scene in the movie...
Too bad for the producers ... they had already payed and filmed that scene... also distributed it for trailer of the movie...

Like I mentioned in another topic...
I actually liked Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.
Personally, I thought it was pretty good...however, yeah, it was very misleading. The reason why it failed was because they attached the Final Fantasy name to a movie that lacked all the elements of a typical Final Fantasy game, so with that said, if it was named just "The Spirits Within", it might have done much better.
And, with Advent Children...I thought it was cool, considering the fact that I think FFVII is pretty overrated. I fancied myself a Suikoden guy (I miss that game...). It was really funny years ago, when they first announced a FF movie, I thought that this was going to be the one that they were going to put out, but, instead it was Spirits Within.
What else is out there?
Oh, yeah, all the horrible Uwe Boll films. :: sigh ::. Movies such as House Of The Dead, Alone In The Dark, Bloodrayne, this other one that the name escapes me, but, it's got the dude from The Transporter movies in it, and the upcoming POSTAL movie. How this guy continues to get work completely baffles me.

yes... I don't really understand why did the designers made this game... I mean, they made a movie about a fighting tournament, into a soldier - war movie... and then, a fighting game of a war movie...
Now, imagine what Valna said... a game based in Mario bros movie...

I'd play the Mario Bros. Movie game...just to see what they do with it.
It would probably be METAL SLUG, just with redone Mario and Luigi sprites.

and they'll be adding Peach and Daisy....
possibly, they will decide Yoshi and Donkey Kong join them too... and Wario joining Bowser...
and then.. they will get material for the movie, based on the game, based on the movie evil Reiko mentioned...

I have bad news and worse news.
Bad news: They're making a King of Fighters movie; Words can't even describe how utterly horrible it is, so I'm not going to even try to.
Worse news: They're also making a Tekken movie...and it looks better than KOF, Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li (Oh god, I saw that recently) and any random Uwe Boll shitfest combined. Too bad they're wasting it on Tekken of all things.
Ugh.
Oh, and with Legend of Chun Li: The nicest thing I can say about that movie is "Man, that movie was Sensory Rape. Without lubrication."
Sorry for double posting.

Hey Warriors...
(This is a remake of an old topic we had, I wanted to open it time ago, but I was busy... )
Here we can talk about the videogames that became movies, after the producers realized they could earn more money from videogamers, not only by selling the game...
Here we can talk about what we like or not from those movies, and discuss if the movie fulfilled our expectations, I guess we're all gamers in this forum aren't we?
We won't add the movies that became videogames... because it's not the same thing, maybe in other topic...
Ok then, let's start...
RESIDENT EVIL 3 ....
has anyone seen it???
I didn't care for RE3 the movie very much for these reasons.
1: The kid K-mart: Ok so they named a character after a retale store---Why couldn't she be Sherry? You know the character that was with Clair from RE2 the game .
2: Carlos gets infected again: Ok first of all what happend to the kid that had the vaccine?! If she had those importaint items with her, shouldn't she had stayed with the group. 2nd complaint: Carlos took the T-virus (or G-virus don't remember) vaccine!!! Wouldn't he be immune ?
3: What happend to Jill ?
Anyway I didn't like RE movies 1 or 3 but 2 I liked---Nemesis was well done I think .

Marvel movies are kind of like that.
The first one is okay, the second is an improvement over the first and the third is just a stinking pile of awkward. Case in point: X-Men. And Spiderman.

Now one game to movie I would like to see is a Metal Gear movie. Sean Connery could play "Big Boss (heck in the original MSX version a likeliness of his face was used), and the guy who played Kyle Reese in the movie The Terminator (or Kurt Russel---heck he played Snake in Escape from New York & LA) could play Solid Snake .
