DBZ in Spanish was very well done. I would catch an episode here or there and love it, because the voices were better than the English one.
Oh, I don't look it, but, I'm Hispanic, lol.

I never watched the anime but in Spanish... but I really loved the voices... I agree with you, they did a great job. I'm glad you liked it.

yeah! it's very funny, but also very well done!!
as you mention, it's a proof that High Budgets are not needed to create something nice...
I'll search for the "Behind the Scene", and upload it...

i think pretty much the vast majority of anyone who is familar with the dbz series will agree there's no possible way this movie is gonna do good. Even if they tried... due to the nature of the anime. But hey, like the saying goes. Anything is possible! So i guess we'll c!

maybe you're right... it may not be like the anime... but it can be a good movie after all...
there have been cases where the movie was Good, even when it had nothing to do with the anime or comic... it all depends how we look at it...

Kinda like that episode of Pokemon I watched that was in Dutch. I enjoyed it more than the English version.
Anyway, are there any trailers for this movie yet, or are they doing the wise thing and not advertising it?

Lots and lots of fake trailers are out there...and are probably better than what millions of dollars will eventually produce.

sorry I'm late... one could have guessed I collapsed after seeing the movie... I guess my last post was the past one... I finally went to see it.... there's too much to say... where can I begin??? I saw it in spanish... and luckily, the actor who doubled the voice, was the same guy who doubled the original tv serie... so somehow, I felt really familiar with the movie... I felt it was Goku in some other situation...
But, In general... I didn't like it... I found it boring... there was no fight at all... and the guy who played Goku, couldn't act the use of Ki... I mean, I'm sure he never dreamed of Using a Kame Hame Ha... He just pretended... or something...
I wonder if anyone else saw it, besides The Red Spectra and me

We're probably going to be the only 2 people on this board to have seen it...and lived. A lot of people asked me how I was able to sit through it. One of my friends and my brother were only able to sit through 2 MINUTES of the film, and they said that was them pushing it.
One thing that they botched was the PACING. The movie moved too fast. Not very Dragonballish. I've always known Dragonball/Z/GT to TAKE IT'S TIME. It was also surprising to see that they kept the Oozaru transformation...and the fact that they referred to it as Oozaru. I didn't see that coming. At all.
I'm probably gonna sit through it again. One of my friends got the bootleg off a guy selling them on the train. He bought 2 other movies and got Dragonball: Evolution for FREE.
...
Man, that movie sucked.

seems you were right, my friend! just both of us endured it... so, the movie is that bad that even the bootleg salesmen give it away for free!!! but you're right, compared to the anime, the Pacing is way too fast... but you know, that's something I don't like very much in anime... sometimes they take ages just to say a couple of sentences...
but, the funny part, as you mentioned, even though it is an AWFUL movie, we will see it again anyway...
In my case, I saw it 3 times... the first time, I went with my girlfriend, but I got asleep.. so I had to go again, and she had to stand it twice because of me... then my bro wanted to see it, so I finally went with him...

Wow, you're strong, lol.
I kind of want to create a drinking game built around the movie. Basically, everytime something disappoints you, you'd have to take a shot/drink. People would be drunk within 10 minutes.
With DB, what made it painful to watch (pacing wise) was the fact that I'd be really into it and I'd have to wait a whole week to see the next episode. I don't really suffer through that anymore with the fact that I either buy whole boxsets or watch stuff online.

that way, people won't know if the movie was good or bad... perhaps producers should have asked you to propose that to people, so that public could enjoy the movie...
I also got surprised with the Oozaru part... although there was no similitude with the anime... And I liked the Bully-fight part...
when DB fans asks my girl if they should see the movie, she replies:
let me put it this way:
" Goku is chasing Chichi " that says everything about the movie.
