Happy Birthday, Iannafei! ^_^

I think I'll do something a little out-of-character for myself and show you a sneak peek at my upcoming Valis: Origins fanfic as my gift to you. :3

Excerpt from the Prelude of Valis: Origins:

Our story begins over one million years ago during a time of great crisis for the known realms of Earth, Dreamland, and Dark World. Unlike ever before, a great power rose to conquer all three from an unknown origin. In an act of self-preservation, the Dreamland and the Dark World rulers forged an alliance to ward off the great power and restore each realm to peace.

This alliance would be short-lived, as each side began to dispute who had the stronger armies and who would take on the many aspects of war. The Dark World rulers believed their warriors to be the strongest and most able to survive in the harsh world of war while the Dreamland rulers believed their soldiers to be properly skilled and most able to defeat the enemy in the heat of battle. As each side fought amongst themselves, both lost focus on the power that threatened them and this power continued to grow exponentially.

The citizens of both worlds, tired of the fighting between their rulers and wary of their impending doom, came together to find a way to defeat the power on their own without the need for their rulers. This civilian alliance was strong, as it was forged out of the need to survive and not out of love or hate, pride or ego. The strength of this alliance allowed for its members to become stronger as warriors, even more so than the armies of either realms' rulers.

After many years of training, calculating, and fending off the power as best they could, they managed to gather enough intelligence and come up with a plan to at least seal the power, if not destroy it altogether. With that, they began to seek out the strongest warriors alive, wherever they may be...

To note, it's out-of-character for me to write so much, not to be revealing anything prior to full release.

Thanks, guys. ^_^ I'm hoping I can get a couple small sections done and submitted into my convention's Fanfic contest so the Valis name gets out more. I'm just glad it was a much-enjoyed birthday gift for iannafei.

Also, FTR: if I can get someone to draw actual manga-style artwork (panels and all), I'd be more than happy to start writing non-hentai Valis doujinshi. I think that's probably the greatest gift I could give not to just any single Valis fan, but the Valis community as a whole. =)

I was just kidding. I'm so happy that a new Valis fanfic is going to be written

as far as I know, it's only me and Keisuke Nonohara who can draw manga-style images in here.

normally, I encourage and may participate in any non-hentai Valis project (just because I love Valis so much ). The problem is that I'm seriously not just overloaded, but I'm extremely OVERLOADED with tasks and Valis projects.

maybe Keisuke Nonohara can help if he would like. Otherwise, it would be ok for me, I will draw images for your fanfic <-- but I will ask for many limiatations

I see. lol Well, FTR, it's not like I'm running on a time-clock, so if you'd like to animate the excerpt I provided, feel free to do so at any given time. I also happen to know a lot of mangaka where I live, it's just each of them can write as well as draw, so I'm kind of moot there.

What I could do is make a dA account and post my writing on there an hand out the password here (of course backing everything up on that account on my own computer) and people can add animations to any writing on there (which people can also add to it). A general purpose fanfic/doujinshi account, if you will.
