Mugen Senshi Valis vol.1, on sale today!

Man, it took me forever to find the new forum... So, I return bearing good news: the first volume of ZOL's Valis comic compilation went on sale today!

Amazon Japan- Valis vol. 1



I think it contains vol. 1-6 of the comic printed in Comic Valkyrie, 156 pages. It costs ￥ 580 + ￥ 3,000 shipping to the US. That's a total of about $32.00 as of 10/29/07, still a damn sight better than the $250.00 or so it would cost to get Comic Valkyrie 1-6. (Vol. 1 is still mad expensive) Unfortunately the book's dimensions are 5x7 inches, unlike the 7x10 inches we got with Comic Valkyrie. So it's the size of those little Tokyopop graphic novels.

I'm really glad Valis has it's own publication now, collecting these will save me a lot of money over importing those pseudo-hentai phonebooks every two months.

Oh, and if you missed the first volume of Comic Valkyrie, (real hard to get now) They've posted the entire first issue of Valis on their website! Get it here-

WOW! This is great! Not only that the manga is fancinating,it's also a gem that people won't forget. I mean look at this! Page after page! All they need to do now is translate it.

All I will say is, apart from the non-understandable Japaneese text, this is a GODSEND!

So, did anyone buy the book? It looks like Amazon sold out their initial stock, the next shipment is in 3-5 weeks.

WOW~ been busy with my new job and almost forgot about this wonderful thing(yeah...and forgot about Telenet's closing), got to go to Japanese bookstores asap before they ran out of stock!

The comic is available at more shops now, including Kinokuniya. They're bound to have cheaper shipping options. Hopefully it'll still be available when you can get some fun money built up.

The problem as usual is shipping...
it makes things much more expensive...

Maybe one of us could "sacrifice himself"...
buy two comics, scan and upload one of them...

I presume XYXZYZ has been busy, and has forgotten to update this topic…
So I made a search and I found new chapters of Valis Comic are ready.

Unfortunately, my worst fears became true…

Valis Comic has turned a bit Hotter than I expected…

I’m sad about this… I mean… I was prepared, due to the fact the comic was print in a Hot content magazine, I was expecting the manga to have some “hard” scenes…

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy Valis is around, but not this way…
I don’t remember if ZOL has the rights about Valis story… if they do, Valis future is again black…

Valis is going into the wrong direction again, and it seems that keeping Valis Legend alive, depends on us…

Evil Reiko’s animation… Glacier 36’ story…. ShadowBlade and Keisuke’s Game…
they’re our only hope of having a fine adventure about our loved Valis characters…

I don’t care about this Comic, I will remember Valis ladies as mighty warriors who give up everything to defend what’s right…
not only as sexy girls in armour…

I love because of what I see in her eyes… her courage, and her will…
for me she’s really beautiful… but I prefer not to have a comic like this one about her…

it's not again black, it's black since they produced the first vol. of this comic. remember in the old forums when we first knew about this comic? I told you guys that this comic is going to turn to hentai gradually since they started with few nude scenes

Since the Valis comic is being compiled into it's own graphic novel, I stopped buying Comic Valkyrie. So, I will be buying vol. 2, but those CV samples give me that feeling.
