I hope I am doing this correctly, I am new here It is nice to meet everybody, & hope to get to know you better

Hi! My name is A.Ro. I usually go around the net as Sparkletta, Sparklette, Sparklettemachina, SparkleAro, & any kind of name that involves the word "Sparkle" . So here I named myself "SparklyValis".

Valis is one of those cool retro games I used to like when I was a kid. & one day when I discovered LP's on youtube, I looked up "Valis" & found Valis77's channel. Good stuff! And I credit Valis77 as my introdution to the game community on youtube. Thank you good sir for showing me such a great world on those parts

Basically I found this board & decided to join. I confess I came looking for all the pics posted to the board but I want to check out the rest of the posts as well now!

I'm not so sure how I could contribute to the fandom, but maybe I post a sketch a two from time to time? So many people making fangames & fanfics! I envy your skills!!

Welcome to the forums, Sparkly. ^_^ Your artwork looks fantastic, to say the least. :3 I think you'll be a good contributor of the arts on this board.

Though I think I know how you felt when posting, since I didn't know what I'd be able to contribute to the community other than being just another voice. Now I'm a Valis Philosopher - I come up with all sorts of crazy theories revolving around the official canon and how it fits together and I try to piece together as much of an "official" time- and storyline as I can. It's really hard and rather confusing thanks to the inconsistencies of Telenet and RiOT, but with the help of the community here, I manage to get some things sorted out.

Indeed he does. And welcome Sparklyvalis! I'm one of the guys around here who tends to post at random sort of. But, I'm a fanfic writer at fanfiction.net, and Valis plays a very unique role in it! Mostly the sword of Valis is seen in the first few chapters, which is the only real Valis relation in it thus far.

But part 2 of my fanfic, will introduce a bit more about it, and probably feature two Valis characters. But, that aside, welcome, and enjoy your time here.

I'm a lurker who doesn't exactly frequent the site that much, but I am a (wannabe) writer and a (mediocre) illustrator. Umm... other than from a few old threads, you probably won't be seeing much of me. But I'm writing a Valis fanfiction that might be finished someday... in another time... in another dimension...

So yes it's cool that I'll get to know more about the Valis world here. I guess the best thing I can do is drop some artwork from time time, & paste here links of anything I can find on valis on the web:). Maybe I can offer some art for your fanfictions or game projects or anything of the sort?

I see lotsa varying talents here (programmers, writers, artists, proffessional game players etc.) . Is it possible at all to do a small collaborative Valis project together? Maybe something simple as a small prototype (ie:one level w/ one cutscene or something)? Maybe nothing too big to take away too much time & effort from the other larger fan-projects being produced? Just curious
