Guitar Hero!

Life feels a little more complete knowing that I have this, lol.

Anyone else here played it?

I wanted to play it... and I decided to buy it, as well as the special control...

but then... I decided to learn how to play the guitar for real...

But I've seen many people really enjoying that game...
seems it's really cool...

It's really growing on my brothers...and they listen to Rap music, lol.

It'd be awesome to have them slowly get into guitar driven music as a result.

Are your brothers younger than you???

the best of videogames, is to play with someone else...
and in this case, maybe your brothers will gain intertest, and learn to play for real!!!

later, maybe they will ask you to teach them... and you'll have a group of music....

It's weird, a few years ago, one of my brothers developed an interest (albeit temporary) in bass guitar. Sadly, he never took it serious enough to develop.

But, yeah, they're both younger than me and are into Rap. I mean, yeah, they'll hear some Rock songs (they like Linkin Park, lol) that they like, but, they aren't into it like I am.

And, I only really listen to Rap along the lines of MF DOOM, Mos Def, and Common... Rap that's actually good. I like a little Kanye West, too. Screw 50 Cent and dudes like him. All they're doing is destroying the artform, if it can even be called that anymore.

BTW... in this game, Guitar Hero, can you choose a song from the HDD?
or they're already selected, and you play one of them?

Sadly, I can't dance to save my life.

And, you can't really "add" your own music into the game, however, there is this game similar to Guitar Hero called Frets On Fire for the PC (it's FREE, lol). I haven't read much on it, but, supposedly, you can use the GH guitar controller for it (hooray for USB ports), but mainly, you use the keyboard as an instrument. Wikipedia it for more details.

It seemed really fun, specially playing with other people...
I was about to buy the game.. the problem was I had to buy one more control for my brother...
but after the game was sold, nintendo focused in Wii...
I heard they released Donkey Conga 2... but it was only one more game!!!!
so what for will you be buying a control, only to play one single game???

at least, seems Guitar Hero's control will be useful for more games...

Yeah, it's weird, the Gamecube's full potential had yet to be tapped and Nintendo just dropped it (well, here; it's probably still going in Japan. I think).

yes, it seemed a great and funny game...
I use to play Smash Bros with my bro and my 2 nephews... we really enjoy such giant battles...
so, In Donkey Conga, following the rythm.... all togheter... it just hafta be great...

Have you seen the arcade videogames, where you emulate playing the percusions?
I have seen it, but never tried it... there's always someone playing....
