A New(b) Hero

Greetings, fellow Warriors. I just found these boards last night and, being that Valis is my greatest love (and 's the only goddess I worship), I definitely couldn't pass up a community like yours.

I've been playing, collecting, and fanboying over Valis for over eight years now. As soon as I played my first Valis game (go figure, it has to be Syd of Valis), I was enthralled and picked up the first game the next day. Since then, I've gone hunting on various occasions for new Valis collectables and information. This time, though, I've hit the jackpot.

A bit more, I'm a gamer/otaku hybrid who loves himself some Ys (among many other stand-alone US cults), Castlevania, Mega Man, Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, Tekken, etc. etc. I don't watch a lot of anime, but I love the style and plotworks. Some of my favorites include Blood Reign: Curse of the Yoma, Grappler Baki, DBZ, and Fist of the North Star. I work at an anime store, so I also see a lot of interesting anime that I'd like to check out, but I'm less than broke so it makes it difficult (since I shouldn't be streaming/pirating due to conflict of interest).

I hope to enjoy a good experience here and get to know other Valis fans too. ^_^

tl;dr - I'm a newb, I love Valis and am 's #1 Fanboy, I like other games too, and I watch anime.

EDIT: And for some reason, the "Newest Member" shows my name correctly, but the posts and the online indicator depict my e-mail. Fix please?

eventhough is the most famous/lovable Valis character, but looks like we don't have many fans of her in here By having you here, it's gonna be great!!

Thanks for everything, Reiko. It was interesting to note that you were here, considering I saw your teaser video of your anime a few months back. It looked good, but it seems like you've dropped it in favor of other projects.

Touchè, does seem to have fewer fans here, but all the same, the other characters deserve a fanbase too. It's refreshing to see fans of all characters, not just the lead ones. Nonetheless, my love for goes unabated and I will not rest until I have everything Valis.

you're saying it like if there are many fans for & to except them from the list (just kidding )

most Valis fans around the world go for <-- 1st place
then & <--- 2nd place
then <--- 3rd place

but anyway, even don't have many fans.

for example in these forums, we have about 3 fans of , and 3 fans of

but poor & there are only 1 for each, but I think that's what make them special

BTW, in my site, there will be a section called as Fan-Friends. each of the members here can send me any information you would like me to display in that section. also, it would be great if you tell me your top-3 fav Valis characters!

my fav top-3 Valis characters are:

1st. of course !!
2nd. <-- poor Valia, no fans for her
3rd.

I suppose my favorite three, setting aside the first place for , would be a rather strange combination as well.

1st:
2nd: Glames/Ramses
3rd: Izard

Suffice so say, I don't think Glames/Ramses gets much credit. After all, it's revealed that his intentions weren't hostile, but rather a matter of survival, so I see his cause as "just" even if I didn't agree with his means.

And Izard's just awesome. Out of all the other characters, I thought he was the coolest one. Of course, none of the original five bosses said or did anything (so far as I know) except just show up and fight. I liked how the Genesis instructions described him, and his graphics and powers are pretty cool too. So he gets the special cookie of 3rd favorite character from me.

And someone needs to make more Valis smilies. No Glames, Megas, Asfar, or any of the other bosses in V1-3 save for Rogles. D:

nice list you got! yeah I agree, izard is just one of the coolest, and I"m sure all members here agree on this

someone, huh? yeah that surely means me 'cause I'm the one who worked on those smilies i don't have time for this, furthermore, there are no clear images for the other characters, it will be even more difficult to make smilies for them
