| i'm not into card games but i'd say these ones are great! i'd certainly play a lot with 'em 'course i can help in italian translations also! p.s. it's a little off-topic maybe but i always thought that a valis board game in heroquest-style would be great! you know.. dungeons mobs and quest | |

that's not an off-topic if you ask me I'm actually planning to make this game have subgames, well.. it's like this: it's a Valis-cards game, but has several styles of games, like: * normal cards matches * warfare-type game * quest-type game (multiplayer, buying/selling items, exp points, etc) * etc the very first v1.0 beta version is going to be very simple, with very simple cards, and very simple game style (just to make sure the game works fine) | |

Excellent. And like I said, I'm not a native speaker of either of the languages I offered, so if anyone else can do the translation or at least help with it I prefer it that way (provided they speak better than I do of course). | |

| just a quick screenshot of what I have finished recently. It's a screenshot of the Deck Construction. - Spoiler:
big card: changes as you mouseover the small cards, and below it shows all description of that card the 20 above are your deck cards, which means the cards you play with the standing alone 1 card on the right is your legendary weapon the 4 cards on the right is your leader and his/her other levels the 10 below are all your cards, which you can browse pages by clicking < or >, add cards to your deck or remove from your deck 2 simple rules you should know about Deck Construction:- You must have exactly 20 cards in your deck, no less no more - legendary weapon and leader (including leader levels) are cards you play in game, but you cannot remove from your deck, and they are NOT counted as part of the 20 cards don't worry about knowing the rules, there will be a tutorial for the game inside the game itself, it will be quite easy and quick to understand everything for first-timers
if I work continously (and nothing goes wrong ), the first release should be ready within 2 days | |

| Dude! This is gonne be awsome! Can't wait! I've been keeping busy with my fanfic, an RP I'm playing in, and a recent activity, I've been playing M.U.G.E.N, and I've gotten some pretty good characters. Also, M.U.G.E.N is a good way to play as characters you always wanted to play, but can't find the games to play as them. On subject of that sort of thing, I'll have to ask gorori something. |

I certainly agree. M.U.G.E.N is also pretty good when trying to put together "Dream Matches" (like ever wondered what a match between Liu Kang of Mortal Kombat and Ryu of Street Fighter would be like? Here is your chance!) | |

I assume it will take around 2 days of continous work (hope so ) But even if it's complete within these 2 days, it's not fair to give you the game when you can play only against other players (LAN game). So, I will need to develop an AI for those who can't play LAN or who just want to practice against bot (because at this point, if you can't play LAN, you can't even TRY the game ) also, right now, I've an issue with game size, it's 335MB !! while the game right now almost doesn't contain anything! I can fix this issue, I just need to try some codes | |

| just to let you know.. I did say I will finish the game within 2 days, but well.. I'm working continuously (because I want to play the game too ), but the more I finish, the more work I find is needed anyway, about Deck Construction.. is almost finished. what you saw of that screen-shot is merely a visual layout with no functions. now it's complete and does all the functionalities (autosave, autoload, viewing cards, adding and removing cards, etc). 1 thing missing: "displaying card's details", which I'm planning to finish by today. other than Deck Construction, I will need to finish: - Creating Lobby (1 day) - Linking between Server and Clients (maybe 1 day) - Game rules (3 days) - Providing AI (3 days) - Adding more cards (2 days) - Providing other languages (depends on you guys ) - Optimizing application size (1 day) - Packaging application (half a day) - Comprehensive test (1-2 days) - Uploading application for you (no-time) time of these tasks are approximate, it may take more or less everytime I finish one of the tasks, I will try to provide a screenshot

| After crazy continuous work upto 3AM everyday , I've managed to finish Deck Construction, now it's fully functioning! Deck Construction took alot to be programmed because I needed to program different parts of the game in already to make Deck Construction work.. which means, other parts will take less time to get them completed - Spoiler:

| today I've managed to optimize the game to 93% (from 330MB to 24MB) the final application will be optimized to a .exe file, and the .exe file will be compressed into rar/zip, so you will need to download only 10-40MB | |

well.. after I started working on it, I realized it needs around 2-3 days to get finished, but I had a series of bugs and errors to fix, which forced me to work more in this point, but anyway.. | Oh, it's been almost a month since last update! (2 weeks I got really busy in really life ) "Linking between server and client(s)" is finally complete I could finish it within 3 days, but the number of errors/bugs I got is unbelievable! Anyway, now the code is clean and working perfectly Now, the next (and FINAL) step is: Gameplay I assume it would take 3-4 days (unless I get many errors in this step ) YES, it's the final step, and then, the game is playable! | oh glad to hear that adrian (to hell with IP ) , and even if they attempted to cease & desist, I can easily replace all Valis characters with my OCs (which are Valis-like) within few minutes Just so you know guys, things left with the game to release first beta version: - Network (it's already there in the system, just need little work to get it completed ) - Attack & Defense actions (again, it's already there just little more work to finalize it ) I paused working on the game since the passed 2 months, because I don't feel like coding right now but I'll get back to it soon For the beta version, guys I'm sorry to say but you can play only LAN battle, which means against another player, otherwise you can't play it.
