ok guys.

this is a continuation thread to the thread in the old forums. it will include anything newly found on webs based on Valis, either it's official or unofficial staff

let's start ..



I made another quick search, searching the webs and blogs for anything new regarding our love, Valis. And, barely I was able to find only 1 new thing. What's this new thing? You wanna know?

yes, it's an official, newly released, half 3D based, Valis 2!!!!!

I won't tell you much of the details, enjoy knowing it yourself

The cell phone one? I always wanted to play the first one but I probably never could and now they are releasing 2...

And yes, this looks so much better than Valis X

it's not just you.. but everyone

the problem is, this game is limited by 3 dimensions:

1) language: only japanes
2) platform: only mobiles
3) regions to play online: only japan (and yes, it can be played online )

I wonder if one day this game extends its limits to be international for everyone.

That Valis X could have ended the series and stopped companies from producing more games of Valis, since no fan is going to be a Valis fan anymore.

Reiko was in the first one, maybe the main sub-character in 2 is Valna so you don't see Reiko in the screenshot?

It even looks like it uses the Valis 2-style character artwork, which was rather distinct from Valis 1 & 3. Nice.

The colors are so cool, but maybe it has been drawn by a hentai fan. But it's not so bad.

This is not how i want to remember Valis I understand if it where a fanpic but not to be taken seriously. Now wonder they won't make a console game out of it.

I think that we need to recruit new people to the forums, preferably those with a love of classic game series and with a knowledge of game programming. Heck, I wouldn't mind a hack of an existing classic game with Valis sprites replacing the originals. Honestly, Valis isn't drastically different from other side-scrollers, making it rather simple to fully replicate the experience.

if you asked me, I prefer playing a new game rather than playing the same game with little difference. But still, it's not so bad to play a hacked game

Dude! that was just cold! but your right, if only they only took a gamble at it plus since people are getting there love for valis thanks to the h-game. Maybe i time. If not,who knows,they might make a mobile emulator.

I kinda wish that other companies would borrow the license and make games for other consoles. In fact, I believe that we had a discussion about this on the other forum. I'd love to see what Capcom or Konami could do with the Valis license.

If Telenet can't think in new stories, and can only think on hentai games...
why don't they sell the license?

I'd like to see Tecmo taking care of New Valis Game...

But who knows... Bandai is not a bad company after all... maybe they will create a game for home systems...

but the truth is, that they are focusing in money too....
mobile games are selling more than ever....

it's not just about a mobile game, the Valis mobile game is limited to Japanese mobile systems

Anyway, if Hudson can buy the license and make a new Valis game, I'm sure it will be perfect. But wait, Hudson already supported Telenet in making Valis

As we already know that Atlus licenced Valis back then and yet they won't pick it up again.As you already know i tried e-mailing them and succeded,however they act as if they they was never involved in buying the licenced game <----- i hope that makes sence. Hmm Valis IV (telenet,renovation, ATLUS) HMMMMM o guess they thought it was trash to save the company or something i don't know. help me out here.
